PRIVACY STATEMENT
Short version: the only personal data we collect is what you type into the contact form, we use it to answer you, and we don't sell it or send you anything you didn't ask for. This page spells out the rest.

If you fill in the contact form we receive the name, company, role, email address and message you enter, plus which language you were reading the site in. We use these only to reply to your request and, if it goes that way, to arrange a demo.
Our hosting provider also records standard technical data when any page is served — IP address, browser type, time of the request. This is ordinary server logging, used to keep the site running and secure.
We do not use tracking or advertising cookies, we do not profile visitors, and we do not sell or share your data with anyone for their own marketing.
When you send the contact form, we process your data to take steps at your request before entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR). The server logging rests on our legitimate interest in a secure, working website (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
If we ever want to add you to a mailing list or send you anything you did not ask for, we will ask for your explicit permission first.

That is the whole list. In particular, the typefaces on this site are served from our own domain rather than loaded from Google Fonts, so visiting a page sends nothing to Google.
Contact-form enquiries are kept for [ e.g. two years ] after our last contact with you, so we can pick up the thread if you come back to us. Server logs are kept for the short period our hosting provider retains them. If you ask us to delete your enquiry sooner, we will.
This site sets no tracking cookies, so there is no cookie banner to click away. It does store one small item in your browser — your language choice — so the site opens in the same language next time. That stays on your own device, is never sent to us, and clearing your browser data removes it.
Under the GDPR you can ask us to show you the data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, limit what we do with it, or hand it over in a portable form. You can also object to our processing. Email info@builderinspect.com and we will respond within one month.
If you think we are mishandling your data, you are entitled to complain to the Dutch data protection authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens. We would rather you told us first so we can put it right.
